Ras Al Khaimah
Forty minutes by car from Dubai, Ras Al Khaimah (literally “the top of the tent”) was recently ranked as one of the world’s best in¬vestment destinations by FDI Magazine of the Financial Times Group.
Under the leadership of its US-educated ruler, H.H. Crown Prince Sheikh Saud bin Saqr al-Qassimi, who took the reigns in 2003, RAK has followed the example of its larger neighbours, Dubai and Abu Dhabi, and initiated its own economic transformation. RAK’s GDP has grown by over 50% during the last four years and GDP growth is set to continue at 15% p.a.

RAK has initiated ambitious projects in recent years and has made enormous investments into its infrastructure. Numerous large-scale real estate developments have already been completed and a substantial tourism infrastructure is already in place, including a re-designed international airport and numerous hotels. Further projects are now approaching completion, including the seven-star Al Hamra Palace Hotel.
Many local experts regard RAK as a dynamic market for the coming years and one that currently offers investors outstanding value.
Ras Al Khaimah is known for its beautiful landscapes and natural habitat, its red sand dunes, pristine beaches, and for the majestic Hajjar Mountains, which rise 2,000 meters into the sky. The new Ras Al Khaimah International Airport opened in October, 2007. Twenty-seven airlines fly to and from RAK and several have introduced direct routes to the emirate from European cities. One of the first such flights was introduced by Air Berlin. In February, 2006, the RAK government, together with the company Space Adventures, announced the creation of a space port to be built and put into operation by 2012. |

Marjan Island
Apartments, offices, and retail outlets
in Dubai and Abu Dhabi are in high demand and prices for properties with sea views have rocketed due to the scarcity of coastline. In order to accommodate demand, Dubai’s government decided to
launch land reclamation projects such as the Palm Jumeirah, Palm Jebel Ali, The World, and the Dubai Waterfront project.

Land reclamation is very expensive, however, a fact that has exerted additional
Accardia Opportunity Syndicate III upward pressure on the prices for waterfront projects currently on the market. Observing this trend, the ruler of neighbouring RAK began with the development of his own 18-billion-dollar man-made island— “Marjan Island”— which will extend two kilometres into the sea.
The first reclamation phase has been completed and the construction of buildings on the island is underway.
Marjan Island will consist of f ve man-made, coral-shaped islands covering more than 29 million square feet.
Developments on the island will be based on high-quality urban planning strategies and include residential projects, as well as hotels, restaurants and cafes, offi
ces, retail outlets, beaches, a marina, marina village, and water theme park. |

The first taste of an eighteen hole "links" course in the Middle East built along the shores and rolling waves of the Arabian Gulf. Designed by renowned Swiss Golf Course Architect Peter Harradine the golf course is shaped around a large open lagoon with four sub-lagoons all inter-connected.

The front nine measuring 3,559 yards plays ‘Out’ away from the clubhouse, whilst the back nine measuring 3,708 yards returns back ‘In’ around the lagoon. The result is a 7,267yard Par 72 Championship Golf Course. In addition Al Hamra Golf Club features a nine hole Par 3 Academy course with holes ranging from 60 yards to 110 yards and features a salt water lake meant to test even the novice golfer’s nerve.
